Today we are going to be doing a DIY project which I am highly excited about. This is going to be a quick and easy personalized jewelry holder, so let's get started!
First, these are the items you will need:
I purchased all of my items at Walmart and spent $8 dollars!
- Canvas Panel (white 8x10) $2
- Upholstery Nails (in antique brass) $1
- Picture Hanging Kit $1
- Acrylic Paint (in vanilla ice cream) $2
- Permanent Paint Marker $2
- Ruler and Pencil
- Hammer
Step 1:
Paint your canvas (if you wish to) and let it dry before you begin.
Step 2:
Grab your ruler and your pencil and on the bottom longer side of the canvas make marking 1 inch apart. This is where you will nail your upholstery nails to hang your jewelry on.
Step 3:
Decorate your canvas however your heart desires! I decided to put my initials on it and write it down with the marker.
Step 4:
Turn your canvas around and on the back hammer down the picture hanging kit. Depending on the kit you have, you may want to put one on each corner for more stability!
Step 5:
Take out your upholstery nails and hammer down a nail on each marking you made. When doing this be careful if the nail goes through the canvas so that you don't accidentally cut yourself. Then carefully turn the canvas around and hammer the nail downward to secure it.
Step 6:
Find a beautiful wall to hang your personalized jewelry holder on.
Step 7:
Add jewelry to your holder and you're done!

Mia, I love your blog! I think you've done a really great job of making your content about beauty accessible to anyone, whether they are very experienced or not. I am terrible when it comes to knowing anything about make up or hair products but you organized it and presented it such a way that makes it seem like something I would enjoy learning more about and going out and getting some of the products you posted. I really enjoy that your titles are all in the same cute font, while your posts are in an easier to read font. I also really like the light color scheme of your blog. I think that you have done a really great job connecting with readers by posting your own DIY video. I really enjoyed it and it was very easy to follow and I am probably going to make a jewelry holder just like it. I'm looking forward to reading more of your posts!
